Richland Township Profile
Richland Township is located with in Kalamazoo County, eleven miles northeast of Kalamazoo City, in Richland, Michigan. Click here for MapQuest directions. It is a quaint community of approximately 6,800 people. The Township encompasses 34.75 square miles of very rich land, (hence the name Richland) and 1.7 square miles of beautiful waterlands. The lakes are: Miller Lake, Oatman Lake, Three Lakes, Grass Lake, Grassy Lake. The land is rich in nutrients and lends itself to producing high quality farming. It is home to the Eastern Hills Golf Course and their own Richland Township Park. The latitude of Richland is 42.376N. The longitude is -85.474W. It is in the Eastern Standard time zone.
